Aims and Scope The IJECI is an irregular refereed, international journal, conceived as an Information and Communication Scientific Journal. Information and Communication in terms of Economic and Competitive Intelligence. This covers methodological aspects (indicators, systems) computer or statistical assisted process, new technology of information (i.e. networking, multimedia), technology watch and awareness, science and public policy, decision making process, data and idea mining, knowledge recovery, knowledge management. Those subjects can be treated not only in general but also in specific contexts, applications with an information or communication focus. This journal is international in terms of both audience and authorship. Papers in any languages are accepted (see recommendation for authors) so that local point of view may have an international diffusion. Due to industrial application of economic and competitive intelligence, industrial case or examples are welcome, but as a scientific journal the scientific committee is academic.
